Administered oath to newly elected office bearers of District Advocates Association

Raipur 16 March 2025: In the oath taking ceremony of District Advocates Association held at Jashpur District Civil Court, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai administered oath to the newly elected office bearers and congratulated them while making them pledge dedication towards judicial service. Many dignitaries including Principal District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed, Additional District and Sessions Judge Janardan Khare, MLA Smt. Gomti Sai and Smt. Raimuni Bhagat were present in the ceremony. Those who took oath included President Om Prakash Sai, Senior Vice President Janardan Prasad Sinha, Junior Vice President Smt. Deepika Kujur, Secretary Satya Prakash Tiwari, Joint Secretary Suraj Chaurasia, Treasurer Suchendra Kumar Singh, Librarian Gopal Prasad Rawani and Sports and Cultural Secretary Satyendra Jolhe. Chief Minister Sai, while extending his best wishes to all the office bearers of the Bar Association, said that the judiciary is the backbone of democracy and advocates play a major role in it. He said that advocates should contribute in speeding up the judicial process with full commitment and dedication, so that even the most deprived section of the society can get justice.

Historical role of Jashpur Advocates’ Association and tradition of justice Chief Minister Sai, while discussing the historical contribution of Jashpur District Advocates’ Association, said that this association has always been a pioneer in social justice and legal service. Recalling personalities like Bharatchand Kabra, Balasaheb Deshpande and Narhari Sai, he said that all of them have played an important role in providing justice to the exploited, oppressed and deprived people. He called upon the advocates to protect the rights of the people and facilitate the path of justice for them by maintaining this tradition. Announcement of Rs 1 crore for renovation of Bar Council and e-library Chief Minister Sai, taking a big step towards modernizing the facilities and resources for the advocates, announced Rs 1 crore for the renovation of Bar Council and construction of e-library. He said that in this era of modern technology, e-library will provide easy access to the latest legal information and updated reference material to advocates and law students. This will increase efficiency in the judicial process and new advocates will get better opportunities for study and research.

Unbreakable relationship between judiciary and Bar Association – Principal District Judge On this occasion, Principal District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed said that there is an unbreakable relationship between judiciary and Bar Association, and both should work together to strengthen justice and law and order in the society. He appealed to the advocates to maintain the dignity of justice and to take legal services to the last person in the society. On this occasion, the speakers shared their views on the role of advocates in the society, need of legal aid and measures to make the justice system more effective. Collector Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, Pawan Sai, Krishna Kumar Rai, Rampratap Singh and many senior advocates and dignitaries were present in the oath taking ceremony.
