More than 10.36 lakh voters will elect mayor and councillors in 1095 polling stations of Raipur Municipal Corporation
More than 11.68 lakh voters in a total of 1290 polling stations in the district
Raipur/ 10 February 2025: Voting will be held in 10 other urban bodies including Raipur Municipal Corporation in the district tomorrow. Voting time is from 8 am to 5 pm. All arrangements have been made in the polling stations. Voting material was distributed from this morning and polling parties have reached the center.
A total of 1095 polling stations have been set up in 70 wards for the election in Raipur Municipal Corporation. The total number of voters in this is 10 lakh 36 thousand 118. In this, the number of male voters is 5 lakh 18 thousand 954 and the number of female voters is 5 lakh 16 thousand 908. The number of third gender voters is 256. There are a total of 11 lakh 68 thousand 373 voters in 240 wards of all urban bodies in the district. Of these, male voters are 5 lakh 83 thousand 807, female voters are 5 lakh 84 thousand 307 and the number of third gender voters is 259. 104 sector officers have been appointed to conduct the voting smoothly in Raipur Municipal Corporation. There are a total of 136 sector officers in the district.
