Chief Minister Sai made historic announcements in Daldali of Kabirdham, wave of happiness ran among the villagers
Raipur 6 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reached Daldali village, situated on the remote and inaccessible hills of Bodla development block of Kabirdham district under the state-wide Sushasan Tihar. As soon as the news of Chief Minister Sai’s arrival in this last border village dominated by tribals and special backward tribal group Baiga spread, a wave of enthusiasm ran among the villagers of Daldali and nearby villages. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai formally inaugurated the Samadhan Camp by lighting a lamp in front of the picture of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and Mother Saraswati. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai met the villagers with great simplicity and intimacy in the Samadhan Camp and made historic announcements. Chief Minister Sai said that now there will be a permanent solution to the big problem of drinking water in the entire forest area including Daldali. Drinking water will be brought from the local Kanai river and delivered to every house. He said that the government is continuously taking big decisions to overcome the drinking water crisis. He said that Rs 123 crore has been sanctioned under the Kusumghata Jal Praday Yojana from Chhirpani reservoir in Kabirdham district, which will provide water supply to 66 villages. At the same time, Rs 78 crore 45 lakh has been sanctioned for Rampur-Thathapur-Dashrangpur-Sutiapath Jal Praday Yojana, which will provide relief to 54 villages.
Chief Minister Sai said that our government has fulfilled every promise under the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After taking oath as Chief Minister, in the first cabinet meeting, I approved housing under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for 18 lakh families of the state. It was decided to purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. Fulfilling Modi ji’s guarantee, the farmers of the state were also given two years’ pending bonus. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh women were directly benefited. The rate of standard sack of tendu leaf collectors was increased to Rs 5500. Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Yojana was started and 22 thousand beneficiaries benefited. Chief Minister Tirth Yatra Yojana was restarted. He said that the state government will soon fill the form for the deprived eligible beneficiaries under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He informed that survey work is being done under Phase-2 of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He urged the villagers to take this survey very seriously and include their names. He said that all eligible persons will be given permanent housing under this scheme. The Chief Minister also took feedback on the implementation of various schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Chief Minister Khadyaan Yojana and MNREGA in the Samadhan Camp.
Addressing the Samadhan Camp, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, in its very first cabinet meeting, has approved 18 lakh new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, fulfilling the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that we have fought a long battle on the streets for these houses and today the pleasant result of this struggle is visible in every village of Chhattisgarh. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma informed that Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is coming to Ambikapur soon and on this occasion the state will get an even bigger gift under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He said that very soon those eligible beneficiaries of the state, who were deprived of the scheme till now, will also be given its benefits. On this occasion, Pandaria MLA Smt. Bhavana Bohra also addressed the Samadhan Camp. He said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, an unprecedented stream of development is flowing in the forest and tribal areas of Chhattisgarh, due to which positive changes are being seen in the lives of the people. He said that with the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana and Jal Praday Yojana, remote villages of Kabirdham district are also now joining the mainstream of development. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister P. Dayanand, IG Abhishek Shandilya, Collector Gopal Verma and other officials were present in the Daldali solution camp along with local public representatives.
