Bhopal: Minister in charge of School Education, Transport and Balaghat district, Mr. Uday Pratap Singh has said that in view of the summer season, such arrangements should be made that there is no water crisis anywhere in the district. He said that along with digging tube-wells in the district, all arrangements including motor pumps and rising pipes should be kept ready. Along with this, arrangements for drinking water should also be ensured in rural areas from the 15th Finance. He said that the present number of vendors for digging tube-wells is not sufficient; it should be increased. Minister in charge, Mr. Singh was addressing a meeting related to drinking water arrangements in Malajkhand of Balaghat district on Saturday. Many topics including the current water crisis were discussed in the meeting.
Minister-in-charge Mr. Singh said that drinking water, electricity and water conservation are the top priorities of the state government. It is necessary to work on these tasks for the next 2 months. Minister-in-charge Mr. Singh praised the farmers for growing maize along with paddy. He said that an action plan should be prepared keeping in mind the demand for electricity for the last 30 years. Minister Mr. Singh said that sand should be easily available for the common people including PM Awas Yojana. MP Mrs. Bharti Pardhi, District Panchayat President Mr. Samrat Singh Sarswar, MLAs Mr. Sanjay Uike, Madhu Bhagat, Mrs. Anubha Munjare, Gaurav Pardhi, Vicky Patel, Rajkumar Karrahe and local public representatives were present in the meeting. Malajkhand Library good effort Minister-in-charge Mr. Singh observed the library built in Malajkhand Nagar Parishad and appreciated the efforts. Minister-in-charge Mr. Singh was informed that efforts are underway to establish libraries in rural areas as well as in the city. He tasted tea and kodo kutki at the house of PM Awas beneficiary Mr. Dalam Singh. Participated in mass marriage Minister-in-charge Shri Singh also participated in the Mukhyamantri Samuh Kanya Vivah Yojana program. He wished 285 newly married couples a happy and prosperous life. The Minister-in-charge gave cheques of Rs. 49,000 each to the newly married couples. The Minister-in-charge said that now helipads will be constructed in every assembly constituency. In case of emergency, the villagers will be airlifted and treated in big hospitals of the country.
