Vending Zones Will Be Built Near Budhatalaab, Tikrapara And Near Jabbar Nala

Raipur. Raipur Municipal Corporation will soon develop vending zones at three different main places in the capital city and provide them to the citizens. Today, Commissioner Abinash Mishra held a meeting in the Municipal Corporation Headquarters building Mahatma Gandhi Sadan and directed the officials of the Urban Investment Department to complete the work of developing vending zones on the open lands near the old protest site in front of Budhatalaab, near Pujari Park Tikrapara and near Jabbar Nala in front of Palm Balagio on priority basis in the public interest in accordance with the public welfare intention of the Urban Administration and Development Department of the Chhattisgarh Government under the guidance of the Raipur District Administration, so that the hawkers can get a healthy and clean environment with arrangements there and the citizens can get the facility of a developed vending zone area. The Commissioner has directed the officers of the Urban Investment Department to ensure action for calling tenders for developing vending zones by conducting site inspection at 13 different locations approved in the Town Vending Committee meeting in zones, near Sulabh Shauchalaya in Zone No. 5, Danganiya to CSEB Part 1, Tarun Talab to GIS Marg, left side of the road from Lakhe Nagar Chowk to Sarathi Chowk, Trimurti Mandir Chowk Mathpuraina, Jalgrih Marg near Bhatgaon Auto Stand, Tagore Nagar adjacent to the boundary of Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal, Raipura near Visarjan Kund, near Hirapur Sabzi Bazar, Telibandha under the Expressway, near SLRM Center, Kamal Vihar Chowk Boriyakhurd Pauni Pasari, Devpuri near Himalayan Heights. The Commissioner has directed the Mission Manager of NLUM to take immediate action to develop vending zones in three places and to provide quick settlement to the hawkers there and to get the survey work done in coordination with the teams of the respective zones. Superintending Engineer Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Engineer Nitish Jha, Deputy Engineer Vikas Sahu, NULM Mission Manager Sushma Mishra were present in the meeting.
