Two-day International Conference On ‘Emerging Technologies For Sustainable Innovation Management And Development’ At Kalinga University

Chhattisgarh: Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and IPR Cell of Kalinga University organized a two-day International Conference on ‘Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Innovation Management and Development’ on March 27 and 28, 2025.
The grand opening ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment in the presence of Chief Guest Ravi Singh, Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) of Abhanpur, Vice Chancellor Dr R Sridhar, Director General Dr Byju John, Director IPR Cell Dr R Uday Kumar and Conference Chairman Dr O P Dewangan. Ravi Singh in his address highlighted that in the present times it is necessary to adopt new energy sources and new strategies and we should encourage innovation by empowering students with knowledge and skills to effectively use the existing technologies. The keynote speakers of the conference were Senior Professor from Deakin University, Australia, Dr Saman A. Gorji, Associate Professor from Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines, Dr Erlin L. Gonzales was Associate Professor, Kamphaengphet Rajabhat University, Thailand and Dr. Khamphichia – Vice President, Kamphaengphet Rajabhat University, Thailand.


Various technical sessions were organized in the two-day conference, in which Dr. Pradeep Singh, Head of Computer Science Department, NIT Raipur, Dr. Gopal Krishna Rathore, Professor, Computer Science Department, OP Jindal University, Raigarh, Dr. S. Praveen Kumar, Dean, School of Management, BIHER, Chennai and Dr. P. Venkatesh, Professor, Sairam Engineering College were prominent attendees. Eminent academicians, professors and technology experts from India and abroad participated in these technical sessions through hybrid mode. About 1200 researchers registered themselves in the said conference, in which 319 research papers were selected. 300 research papers were presented in various technical sessions. All these research papers will be published in the internationally reputed research journal ‘Taylor & Francis’ and other Scopus journals. Research students shared their research presentations and ideas as per the theme of the conference. The program was conducted by the students of Computer Science Department, Ritesh Tiwari, Swadhin Nayak, Ms. Isha Dewangan, Ms. Deepti Pandey, Ms. Riddhi Singh, Ms. Tanzila Naz, Ms. Jasleen Kaur, Surya Srivastava. The technical sessions were conducted by Assistant Professors of the department, Kamlesh Kumar Yadav and Moti Ranjan Tandi. The two-day event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Chairman of the conference, Dr. O.P. Dewangan, in which he thanked all the speakers, participants and sponsors for their invaluable contribution. Special appreciation was given to the University leadership for their cooperation in making the program a success. Faculty members of Computer Science and Information Technology – Dr. Anupa Sinha, Dr. Ayyay Ahmed Afridi, Ms. Chandni Sawlani, Debargaya Biswas, Ms. Manjulata Bhoi, Manish Nandi, Ms. Archana Mishra, Ms. Anjali Goswami, Ms. Ragini Kushwah, Anjali Kadao, Ms. Prerna Dusi, Ashu Nayak, Ms. Akansha Soy, Ms. Ruhi Khan were also present at the event along with the students.
