Seeing PM Awas in the tableau, people understood that now everyone is getting a house
Raipur: This time the needs of the common people were displayed in the tableau of the Urban Administration and Development Department on Republic Day. The theme of this tableau depicted Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0, Nalanda Campus and Atal Campus. Youth, especially school children, were thrilled to see the facilities available in the Nalanda campus and were seen taking selfies and photographs with their classmates. The homeless were also very curious about this tableau and the workers, fabricators, welders, gardeners and hundreds of workers preparing the tableau of various departments kept taking information about the application process and criteria from the officers engaged in preparing the tableau.
On the instructions of Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, this time the departmental officials decided to display the departmental tableau based on public utility and information enhancing IEC. In the live tableau, Atal Complex in all the bodies, housing scheme for all the needy, Nalanda Complex scheme in all the districts were displayed. In front of the housing model, women of self-help groups associated with urban livelihood were seen painting bangles, bamboo based selling material and sarees with Madhubani art. In the live tableau, a young woman giving direction to her career by studying in Nalanda Campus gave the message of women’s self-reliance. The theme of this entire tableau was appreciated at every level and this time the government’s advancing step towards good governance was displayed through IEC.
