The Public Is Going To Teach A Tough Lesson To The Congress Once Again In The Urban Body Elections: Dev

BJP state president Dev’s sharp sarcasm: Baghel made Chhattisgarh an ATM of 10, Janpath, while Congress mayors and presidents looted and made urban bodies ATMs

Today, Congress neither has a single achievement of its tenure to count nor any roadmap of development to make urban areas fully equipped: Dev

Raipur: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Kiran Singh Dev has said that after the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the people of Chhattisgarh are going to give a tough lesson to the Congress once again for its corruption and misgovernance by voting for urban bodies tomorrow on February 11. Dev said that there is a lot of anger among the people due to the negative politics of the Congress representatives who have been in power in the urban bodies for years and this has created an unprecedented positive environment in favor of the BJP in the entire state.

BJP State President Dev said that the BJP will fulfill its resolutions expressed in the Atal Vishwas Patra in the urban bodies and will expand development and public facilities in urban areas as per public sentiments. The BJP does what it says. On the contrary, the Congress has been ruling the urban bodies for 10 years and 15 years at other places, but in such a long period the Congress representatives neither got any development work done in the cities and towns, nor laid even a single brick for new construction work, nor did they provide the people with the basic facilities that they are entitled to. The Congress people could not even preserve the work that was done during the BJP’s tenure. The entire focus of the Congress people remained only on corruption, looting and commission-taking. Dev said that in the last five years of its rule, the way the Bhupesh government of Congress looted the state’s government treasury by running a series of scams and frauds and made Chhattisgarh an ATM of 10, Janpath, on the same lines, the Mayors-Presidents of Congress in urban bodies crossed all limits of corruption in Municipal Corporations, Nagarpalikas and Nagar Panchayats and worked to hollow out the finances of the bodies and make the bodies an ATM of the state Congress.

BJP State President Dev said that Congress does not have a single achievement of its tenure to count today and neither does it have any roadmap of development to make urban areas fully equipped. The manifesto of Congress released for the urban body elections is another new bundle of lies and it will have the same result again, which the Congress people have done in the last five years with the manifesto released in the last election. Dev quipped that the manifesto does not matter for the Congress anyway, because the Congress people, far from fulfilling their promises, go back on their promises. The people of the state have seen this very well in the last five years of Congress rule and that is why the Congress government with a huge majority is forced to suffer the pain of its historic defeat in just five years. On the same lines, the people of the state have now made up their mind to give the same bad fate to the Congress in the elections of urban bodies. The people of the state will not fall into the trap of the Congress at all, this will become “clear as a mirror” from tomorrow’s voting and the results of February 15.
