Chaupal held in Narayanpal of Bastar, know the ground reality of schemes

Raipur, 30 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the state government stands with every needy, public welfare is our top priority. Good governance means good governance. Under the last phase of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached village Narayanpal in Bastar district today. He set up his Chaupal under a mango tree in the Devgudi complex of Narayanpal and took information about the schemes by interacting lively with the villagers. The Chief Minister also took information from the villagers on basic issues like electricity system, ration distribution, PM Awas Yojana and Mahtari Vandan Yojana as well as the status of ration card in the village, availability of ration, presence of teachers and patwaris. Mrs. Sarita Kashyap, a beneficiary of ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’, told the Chief Minister that she is associated with the self-help group, uses the amount received from Mahtari Vandan for household expenses and treatment of children. Jagmohan Kashyap informed about the completion of house construction under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Mrs. Lalita Baghel said that earlier she had to mortgage her jewellery to do bell metal work. Now under the Bihan Yojana, she is getting assistance of Rs. 15,000 and a loan of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh from the bank, due to which her work is going on better. Mrs. Padmini Thakur said that she is associated with the production of organic fertilizer and pesticides. Women of the self-help group presented a food basket to the Chief Minister on this occasion. Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Sai said that all the needy will get housing, those whose names are in ‘Awas Plus’ will also be given housing. He said that the names of women whose names are not included in the ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’ will also be added. He said that the government is closing all the avenues of corruption with the use of technology. The process of transfer along with registry has been simplified with the new process of registration. He said that Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been started in 1460 Gram Panchayats from April 24. Soon it will be expanded to all the Gram Panchayats.

Announcement of several development works Chief Minister made several announcements on the demand of villagers, including Rs. 20 lakh for Narayanpal Secondary School Bhawan, Rs. 20 lakh for Primary School Mandirpara, Rs. 15 lakh for street light, high mass light, Rs. 20 lakh for commercial complex, Rs. 15 lakh for C.C. Road 600 m. (from Govardhan Bhata to Bodhghara Ghar), Rs. 12 lakh for 2 pieces of culvert 2 m. span, Rs. 9 lakh for C.C. Road from Dharmu Ghar to Naav Ghat, thus announced works worth Rs. 1 crore 11 lakh in total. In Narayanpal, Chief Minister distributed vehicles to 11 beneficiaries of Forest Committee of Kanger Valley National Park. This included beneficiaries of Forest Committee of Kotamsar, Tirathgarh and Kamanar. He honored meritorious students of class 10th and class 12th by giving them tablets and books. On this occasion, MP Mahesh Kashyap, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Basavaraju S along with many public representatives and villagers were present.
