Journalists expressed gratitude for making special provisions in the budget

Raipur, 04 March 2025: A delegation of Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office today and expressed gratitude for doubling the Patrakar Samman Nidhi as well as making new provisions in the budget for journalists. On this occasion, the delegation also presented a copy of Shri Vishnupuran to the Chief Minister. It is worth noting that in the budget of Chhattisgarh, provision has been made to increase the Patrakar Samman Nidhi from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 20 thousand per month, Rs 1 crore for exposure visit of journalists and Rs 1 crore for renovation and expansion of Press Club building of Raipur. The delegation also expressed gratitude to Finance Minister OP Choudhary and Media Advisor Pankaj Jha for making special provisions in the budget for journalists. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh President Arvind Awasthi, Convenor Rajesh Mishra, Vice Presidents Bharat Yogi and Mohan Tiwari and District President Ram Sahu were also present.
