Raipur- Today, Chairman Suryakant Rathore of Municipal Corporation Raipur and Commissioner Vishwadeep, in the presence of Municipal Corporation Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R.K. Dongre, Zone Health Officer Ravi Lavania, inspected the site of W.R.S. Colony drain, Kharoon Vihar drain in Chunabhatti of Raman Mandir Ward, drain near Satkar Hotel in Station Road, Charmuha drain in Maudhapara, falling under the area of Municipal Corporation Zone 2. The Commissioner has instructed to ensure smooth drainage of dirty water by getting all the drains of Corporation Zone 2 area cleaned thoroughly by continuous monitoring. The Commissioner has instructed to get the drains of the zone area surveyed and send a proposal for the work of repairing the broken drains soon. Chairman Suryakant Rathore and Commissioner Vishwadeep, during the inspection, have instructed the Zone 2 Zone Commissioner to take immediate action as per rules to demolish the additional illegal construction done without permission behind the Pithaliya Complex. The Chairman and Commissioner have directed to submit an early proposal for constructing a new drain near Jayastambh Chowk to solve the problem of water logging during rains. During the inspection, Chairman Suryakant Rathod and Commissioner Vishvdeep directed Zone 2 Commissioner Dr R. K. Dongre to prepare and send a proposal for a development plan for constructing drains on both sides of the road and a road divider in the middle of the road on the main road from Jayastambh Chowk to Fafadeep Chowk.
