Raipur, 12 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended Sri Sri Ravishankar’s Shankhnaad Mahasatsang program at Science College ground in capital Raipur yesterday. He took blessings from Sri Sri Ravishankar ji for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the state. Sri Sri Ravishankar praised the Chief Minister. He said that Chief Minister Sai is of progressive ideas, he has big thoughts for the state in his heart. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Sri Sri Ravishankar is doing such work of philanthropy and service to humanity, which cannot be forgotten. The Chief Minister welcomed Sri Sri Ravishankar Maharaj on the land of Chhattisgarh on behalf of the people of the state. It is being re-established through Art of Living. He informed that today an MoU has been signed between Chhattisgarh state and Art of Living, under which his organization will do the work of water conservation, agriculture promotion, education, livelihood – employment, women empowerment and de-addiction in every village of the state. A place has been identified for the Art of Living Center in Naya Raipur. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Chief Minister Sai laid the foundation stone of Art of Living Center of Excellence. This center will be dedicated to yoga, meditation, skill development, self-development and community development. This Maha Satsang has been a unique confluence of knowledge, meditation and Sanatan culture. Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj gave a concise information about the principles of Art of Living in his address. He made the people present meditate. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar appealed to the youth affected by Naxalism and said that you should come in the mainstream of development, we are standing with you, together we will make Chhattisgarh the best and India the best. Where health, education, employment and all basic facilities are available for everyone. There should be work for the upliftment of the poor. He said that peace and prosperity are necessary in our life. When there is peace, prosperity will come. When you come with us, you will also get equality, prosperity and justice. Guns are of no use. In the context of Chhattisgarh, he said that there is natural beauty here. There is abundance of various fruits, flowers and natural wealth. This state can become the center of attraction of the world. Now the time has come that we all should work together to make the state the best and India the best. Regarding Art of Living, he told that there should be power, devotion, strategy and liberation in our life. There should be equanimity of mind in adverse and favorable circumstances. Accept what is as it is. Take inspiration from the thoughts of others, but do not get completely influenced by them and live in the present. There should be love in our life, love means that no one is a stranger to us. While asking for Guru Dakshina from the people, he said that all the people who come here should leave their problems, sorrows and pain here, this is my Guru Dakshina. Have faith in God.
