Chief Minister attended the All India Shaundik National Conference cum Honor Ceremony

Raipur 11 January 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today attended the All India Shaundik National Conference cum Honor Ceremony organized at a private hotel located on Vidhan Sabha Road in the capital Raipur. On this occasion, Chief Minister  Vishnudev Sai said that the Shaundik community has a prosperous history. The people of the Shaundik community are serving the country by contributing in various fields including trade and agriculture. Chief Minister Sai announced to provide land in the capital Raipur for the social building of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Shaundik Samaj. He also released the magazine of Shaundik Samaj, Chhattisgarh Shaundik Samachar. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Sai said that today is a very auspicious day. Last year on this date, Lord Ramlala was seated in the grand temple in Ayodhyadham. Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Rama. I congratulate all of you and welcome the representatives of the Shaundik community who have come to Chhattisgarh from across the country and abroad for the All India Shaundik National Conference cum Honor Ceremony. The Chief Minister said that the Shaundik community has made its mark in the country and abroad with its entrepreneurship and hard work. Today, representatives from abroad have also arrived here, which is a proof of the fact that you have established your talent in every corner of the world. Recently, our illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji participated in the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas program. He had said in his address that there is no corner of the world where the overseas Indian community is not spread. Seeing so many representatives gathered in the conference of the Shaundik community today, the words of the Prime Minister seem meaningful here.

The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has entered the 25th year of its formation. The state is rapidly moving towards development. In the last 1 year, we have fulfilled most of the things guaranteed by Prime Minister Modi. In the first cabinet meeting after the formation of the government, we decided to give Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18 lakh people. Yesterday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was on a visit to Chhattisgarh. He has announced to provide more than 3 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas. He has also assured to provide the same number of houses at the beginning of the next financial year. The Chief Minister said that our government is purchasing paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. Our government has given the farmers the bonus due for 2 years. Also, an amount of ₹1000 is being given to the accounts of 70 lakh women at the beginning of every month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. So far, 20 thousand Ram devotees have benefited from the Ramlala Darshan Yojana. Before forming the government, we had said that we will investigate the mess that has been created with the future of the students due to the irregularities in the PSC. The CBI is investigating the PSC examinations. We have a zero tolerance policy on corruption. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a developed country by 2047. We also have to establish Chhattisgarh as a developed Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is a very prosperous state. It is full of mineral resources and forest wealth. Also, there are hardworking farmers here. The contribution of all of you is very important in making Chhattisgarh developed. We have implemented the new Industrial Policy 2024-2030 in the state. Through the new policy, a favorable environment is being created for industry in Chhattisgarh. The industrial policy of Chhattisgarh was highly appreciated by the industrialists who came to the Investor Summit held in Delhi. In this policy, we have given priority to Scheduled Castes-Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Divyang and women. We are giving the benefit of Single Window 2.0. I appeal to the Shaundik community that all of you should take advantage of it. The Chief Minister said that we are constantly trying to promote employment and education in Chhattisgarh. We have also implemented the new education policy, under which education has been linked to employment. Along with this, we are also providing education in the local language. The number of seats in the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi has been increased. Children who prepare for competitive examinations in the country’s capital will get this benefit. We are building Nalanda campus in every district. Chhattisgarh is rapidly developing in every field.

Addressing the program, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the Shaundik community is playing its part in the society with strength. There is unity in the Shaundik community. Only an organized society moves forward, its voice reaches far. Education is very important for progress. I would like to appeal that all of you should pay special attention to the education of daughters. Also, the Shaundik community should organize mass marriages. All of you are engaged in the progress of the society, it is a matter of great happiness. Your contribution in making Chhattisgarh developed is invaluable. Addressing the program, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam said that Chhattisgarh is developing in all directions under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Farmers of Chhattisgarh are being given the price of paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal. Shaundik community is also associated with agriculture. People of Shaundik community are contributing in various fields. I welcome all of you to the land of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, President of Chhattisgarh State Shaundik Samaj, Mr. Shivratan Prasad Gupta, Convenor Mr. Shyam Gupta, Hazaribagh MLA Mr. Pradeep Prasad, Mr. Prakash Gupta, Mr. Suresh Gupta along with members of All India Shaundik Samaj were present in large numbers.
