Raipur – Today, the meeting of the Advisory Committee of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur was held in the third floor hall of Municipal Corporation Headquarters Building Mahatma Gandhi Sadan under the chairmanship of the department’s chairperson Sanjana Santosh Hiyal and in the presence of Advisory Committee member councilors Bhagatram Harvansh, Ramhin Kurre, Kailash Behera, Mahesh Kumar Dhruv, Ronita Prakash Jagat, Jayshree Nayak, Manoj Jangde, Vinay Pratap Singh Dhruv, Dr. Manmohan Manhare, Secretary of the Department, Corporation in-charge Additional Commissioner Krishna Khatik and Assistant Revenue Officers of all 10 zones. In the introductory meeting, the Secretary in-charge Additional Commissioner of the Department informed the Chairperson of the Department and Advisory Committee member ward councilors about the rules and procedures for issuing caste certificates under the procedure as per rules on the instructions of the government. All Assistant Revenue Officers gave information zone-wise about the applications received in the zone for caste certificates and their resolution. Department head Sanjana Santosh Hiyal and Additional Commissioner in charge have directed all Assistant Revenue Officers to prepare proposals for all eligible applications for caste certificate as per the prescribed procedure and ensure that they are sent to the corporation headquarters for further necessary action for issuing caste certificates to eligible applicants.
