RCB Star Smashes 41-Ball Century In SA20 League, Sets Social Media On Fire. Watch

England all-rounder Will Jacks’ all-round show helped Pretoria Capitals to their first win of the ongoing SA20 league. Jacks, who will be making his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut later this year with the Royal Challengers Bangalore, smashed nine sixes and eight fours on his way to a 41-ball century. His knocked powered the Capitals to 204/9 before he picked two crucial wickets to help his side register a 17-run win over the Durban Super Giants. Fans took to social media to hail Jacks for his all-rounder show at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

RCB fans were especially excited to see Jacks in the upcoming season of the IPL, having missed the tournament last year due to an injury.

Here’s how Internet reacted:

Coming back to the match, Capitals registered their first win as the Super Giants were restricted to 187/7 while chasing 205.

Jacks returned figures of 2-19, apart from his century, and was named ‘Man of the Match’.

Meanwhile, Jacks was bought by RCB for Rs 3.2 crore at the player auction ahead of IPL 2023.

However, he suffered a muscle injury while fielding during an ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur, and was ruled out of the tournament.

RCB had signed New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell to replace Jacks for IPL 2023.

Jacks was then retained by RCB during the IPL Players Auction 2024, but released Bracewell.
