Raipur 9 December 2024/ Continuous efforts are being made by the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to strengthen and expand health services in Chhattisgarh. Taking another important step in this direction, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated a 100-bed fully equipped district hospital at Bada Bazar Chirmiri of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the approval of the setup of a 100-bed hospital at Community Health Center Janakpur, approval of the post of Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) in Bharatpur and power supply from the grid in Chirmiri, Khongapani, Jhagrakhand. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Surguja MP Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Smt. Renuka Singh and many public representatives were present on this occasion. District Hospital Chirmiri has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. 08 medical specialists are appointed in this hospital and 80 types of lab test facilities are available. 04 operation theaters have been built in the hospital including 07 OPDs. Out of which 01 operation theater is operational. A proposal to convert it into a module operation theater has been sent to the state government. Along with this, the hospital also has the facility of 08-bed ICU. With the construction of this hospital, high quality health services will be available to the needy people.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that the state government has a special focus on strengthening the infrastructure in the health sector. Expanding health facilities in the state is the priority of the government so that people can easily get good treatment facilities. The Chief Minister took stock of the various wards, rooms and facilities available to the patients of the district hospital, inquired about the health of the patients present and wished them speedy recovery by gifting them fruits. He advised the team of the Health Department to work with a spirit of service. On the inauguration of the district hospital in Chirmiri by the Chief Minister, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed happiness and said that today the district has received a big gift in the form of a 100-bed district hospital. The priority of the government is that quality health services should be easily accessible to the public, the district hospital of Chirmiri will fulfill this expectation. He further said that the people of the district have now got a better hospital which will provide a lot of convenience to the people in the field of medicine. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced to supply electricity on demand from the grid of Chhattisgarh Energy Department in Chirmiri, Khongapani, Jhagrakhand. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced approval for the setup of 100-bed hospital in Community Health Center Janakpur. Keeping in view the administrative convenience, the Chief Minister has given approval to the Sub-Divisional Officer of Police in Bharatpur.
