Houses lit up with solar energy of CREDA department under the good governance of the Chief Minister
, Will attend the Republic Day celebrations on the special invitation of the President
Raipur 12 January 2025: The lives of the members of three special backward tribe Baiga families of Pandaria development block of Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh have changed with the solar energy of CREDA department under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Just a year ago, till the Diwali of 2024, there was darkness in the houses of these families. To overcome the problems of these Baiga families deprived of electricity, the houses of Baiga family were provided light with solar energy by CREDA CEO IAS Rajesh Singh Rana under the good governance of the Chief Minister under PM Janman Yojana, due to which their dark houses were illuminated. A few days ago, CREDA CEO IAS Rajesh Singh Rana visited Kawardha district, during which he met these Baiga tribes and inspected the solar home lights installed and also gave necessary instructions to the officials. Let us tell you that the CREDA department took immediate action and installed 300 watt solar home lighting systems in the houses of about 25 Baiga families. Light reached these houses for the first time before Diwali, which brought light to the lives of these families and they also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
Six members of these Baiga families will participate in the 75th Republic Day celebrations organized at Kartavya Path in the country’s capital Delhi on 26 January 2025. This occasion will be a moment of pride and honor not only for these families but for the entire Kabirdham district. On the special invitation of Her Excellency President Draupadi Murmu, three families of the special backward tribal Baiga family residing in Kabirdham district have been invited. Among the specially invited Baiga families are Jagatin Bai Baiga and her husband Phool Singh Baiga of village Patpari, dependent on Gram Panchayat Kadavani, Titari Bai Baiga and husband Budh Singh Baiga of village Teliyapani, and Bali Bai Baiga, husband Sonu Ram Baiga of village Teliyapani, a total of six Baiga members. On the special invitation of President Draupadi Murmu, we will have the honor of participating in the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi.
Opportunity to meet the President and have a special dinner: The Baiga families of the special backward tribe of Kabirdham district will also have the honour of attending a special dinner organised with President Draupadi Murmu during her stay in Delhi. Apart from this, these families will be taken on a tour of the Prime Minister’s residence, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan and other historical places. The Baiga families got emotional and said that it is like a dream come true: There is an atmosphere of excitement and pride in these families due to the news of going to Delhi. Jagatin Bai Baiga expressed her happiness and said that we had never thought that we would get a chance to meet the President. Earlier there was darkness in our village, but now our houses are illuminated due to solar energy. This has been possible due to the Chief Minister and the CREDA department.
