The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 50 lakh for the development of the institution
Raipur 2 January 2025: Any country can remain strong only when its foundation is strong. The foundation of our country is in our Sanatan traditions. Sanatan tradition teaches us Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and teaches the lesson of patriotism. For the progress of our country and state, it is very important that we also provide the same values of Sanatan tradition to our young generation which we have got from our teachers and parents. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Vedmata Gayatri Mahavidyalaya in village Kangoli near Jagdalpur during his Bastar visit today.
Chief Minister Sai said that Gayatri Mantra is the most important mantra of our Sanatan tradition. This mantra inspires us to walk on the right path. Along with the best education, the students are also being given the values of patriotism in Vidya Bharati Sansthan.
Chief Minister Sai said that education has special importance in human life and with this aim, the state government is also emphasizing on skill development along with education. He told that high level professional education institutes like IIT, IIM are available in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, 341 PM schools have been established in the state where facilities are being developed for quality education. Along with this, Nalanda campuses are also being established in big cities to provide necessary facilities and favorable environment to the students of the state. He also gave information about the new education policy and the youth hostel built for preparation for competitive examinations in Delhi. The program was also addressed by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Arun Sao, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma.
Chief Minister Sai also announced to provide Rs 50 lakh for the development of Vidya Bharati Sansthan. On this occasion, Lok Sabha constituency Kanker MP Bhojraj Nag announced to give one crore rupees every year from MP fund for the development of various institutions of Vidyabharati Sansthan situated in the state and Jagdalpur MLA Kirandev Singh announced to provide financial assistance of 10 lakh rupees for the development of the institution situated in Jagdalpur. In the program, institution head Raj Bahadur Singh Rana, institution general secretary Narendra Taneja and Ram Dutt Chakradhar gave information about the objectives and activities of the institution.
Chief Minister Sai participated in the yagya organized in Saraswati Shishu Mandir premises and made a sacrifice as per rituals amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the people of the state including Bastar. He planted teak saplings in the courtyard. Dantewada MLA Chaitram Atami, local public representatives, teachers of the school and a large number of students were present on this occasion.
