Rural and urban primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals get new medical officers and specialist doctors
Raipur 16 January 2025: On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, specialist doctors and medical officers have been appointed on contract posts under the National Health Mission, ensuring availability of adequate human resources to strengthen health services in the state and delivery of health services. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal informed that 03 medical officers have been appointed in government hospitals of Raipur division of the state, 06 medical officers in Bilaspur division, 02 medical officers in Surguja division, 01 medical officer in Bastar division and 03 medical officers in Durg division. Orders for posting of these new contract medical officers have been issued today by the National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh. These doctors have been posted in various rural and urban primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals of the respective district. The posting of new contract medical officer will speed up quick treatment and promote medical facilities.
In the order issued for specialist doctors (contract), Dr. P Sudhakar, Dr. Rahul Manikrao Rathore, Dr. Samiranandan Reddy C. and Dr. V Amarinder have been posted in District Hospital Bijapur and Dr. Samir Rajak has been posted in District Hospital Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai. In the order issued by the Medical Officer (contract) for Raipur division, Dr. Dinendra Pradhan, Dr. Sakshi Nayak, Dr. Jasmine Chawla, in the order issued for Bilaspur division, Dr. Virendra Kumar Sarwa, Dr. Vishal Kumar Kesar, Dr. Upasana Sahu, Dr. Zeenat Sheikh, Dr. Nishi Nirmal, Dr. Saurav Vishwas, in the order issued for Surguja division, Dr. Aastha Jaiswal, Dr. Preeti Kushwaha, in the order issued by the Medical Officer (contract) for Durg division, Dr. Akash Sahu, Dr. Sameeksha Dakaliy, Dr. Swati Mishra and in the order issued by the Medical Officer (contract) for Bastar division, Dr. M. Ramakrishna Madarapu have been posted in different districts.
