Raipur, May 4, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the Aadi Utsav program organized in Ramnagar of Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh is a matter of pride for the tribal society. In the Aadi Utsav program, information is given about the customs, tradition, culture, history etc. of the tribal society, so the entire tribal society has attended the Maha Kumbh of Aadi Utsav. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai was addressing the Aadi Utsav program organized in Ramnagar on Sunday. On the arrival of Chief Minister Sai, he was given a grand welcome with garlands, folk songs and folk dances, on this occasion the Gondwana flag was also hoisted. On this occasion, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes Antar Singh Arya, Public Health Engineering Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government Smt. Sampatiya Uike, Minister of State for Social Welfare SC/ST and People Welfare Sanjeev Gaund, MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, Lok Sabha MP Kanker Bhojraj Nag and a large number of dignitaries were present.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that he has got the opportunity to participate in the Maha Kumbh of Aadi Utsav program. Before reaching the Aadi Utsav program, he prayed at the Madhiya located in the Chaugan of the tribal society and took blessings wishing happiness and prosperity for the people of the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh state is the elder brother of Chhattisgarh state, so he feels very happy to come to Madhya Pradesh. Chhattisgarh state was formed during the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Now 25 years have been completed since the formation of Chhattisgarh state. He said that the Aadi Utsav program was inaugurated by Union Minister Jual Oram in Ramnagar Mandla. Organizing Adi Utsav program will provide an opportunity to know the culture, customs, tradition and history of the tribal society. He said that in this land of Gondwana, Rani Durgavati and Raja Shankar Shah and Kunwar Raghunath Shah have sacrificed their lives while protecting the motherland. It is important to make the coming generation aware of the heroic tales of these great men of ours. He said that 11 crore people of tribal society live in India. Tribal Ministry has been formed by the Government of India for the development and upliftment of tribal society. He said that the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deeply concerned about the development and upliftment of tribal society. The Prime Minister allocates a budget of crores of rupees for tribal areas every year.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make a developed India by 2047 by working with the slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. He said that tourism will be promoted and Naxalism will be eradicated. The people of the state are getting the benefit of the double engine government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to celebrate 15 November, the birthday of Lord Birsa Munda, as Tribal Pride Day. By starting the Dharti Aaba Yojana, he is connecting tribal society and tribal areas on the path of development. Pucca houses are being built for backward tribal families through the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana. Electricity, roads and water have been given top priority for tribal society and tribal areas.
