Raipur – The sale of meat and mutton will be completely banned in the entire area of Raipur Municipal Corporation on Chaitrachandra festival dated 30 March 2025. In this regard, in compliance with the order of the Urban Administration and Development Department of the Chhattisgarh Government, the Health Department of Raipur Municipal Corporation has issued an order to keep the slaughterhouse and all the meat and mutton selling shops located in the entire area of Raipur Municipal Corporation closed on Chaitrachandra festival dated 30 March 2025. If any shop is found selling meat and mutton on Chaitrachandra festival dated 30 March 2025, action will be taken to confiscate the meat and mutton and appropriate action will also be taken against the person concerned. On Chaitrichand festival dated 30 March 2025, the zone health officers, zone cleanliness inspectors of Municipal Corporation Raipur will ensure practical compliance of the order banning the sale of meat and mutton and for this, they will continuously supervise the meat and mutton shops of their respective zone areas.
