CM’s Chaupal held under the shade of Mahua tree in Mathamour

Raipur, 08 May 2025: Under the third phase of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai suddenly reached village Mathamour in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district today. When the Chief Minister reached Mathamour village without any prior information, a wave of enthusiasm ran in the village. To welcome the Chief Minister who suddenly arrived, the villagers prepared a beautiful bouquet from the flowers planted nearby and gave him a warm welcome. The Chief Minister set up a Chaupal under the Mahua tree located in the middle of the village and directly communicated with the villagers present there. While taking information about the benefits of government schemes from the villagers, he said that the new daughters-in-law will also get the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana soon. At the same time, the village sarpanches were asked to prepare a list of eligible families for PM Awas and send it. The Chief Minister started the Chaupal with the slogans of Bharat Mata and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. He made the village sarpanch sit near him and took detailed information about the implementation of development works and public welfare schemes and problems in the Panchayat. On receiving the news of the arrival of the Chief Minister, a large number of villagers from the nearby Koliari and Kuwarpur Panchayats as well as from many nearby villages reached Mathamour, who put forth their problems and demands in front of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.

In the Chaupal, Chief Minister Sai took feedback from the villagers on the status of ration shop operation, Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He asked the women whether they were getting the amount of thousand rupees every month on time. Chief Minister Sai clarified that the newly married women who are eligible will also soon get the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. 33/11 KV power substation will be established in Kuwarpur. Along with knowing the ground reality of the implementation of public welfare schemes, Chief Minister Sai also made many big announcements for Mathamour and its surrounding villages. He announced the establishment of 33/11 KV power substation in Kuwarpur. Also, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, he talked about the construction of new roads from Phuljhar to Chandela, Tilauli to Darritola, Sanbora to Pando, Kuwarpur to Gajar and Patpar Tola to Chandela.

A 100-bed hospital will soon be constructed in Janakpur, approval has been received The Chief Minister also informed the villagers that the construction of a 100-bed hospital in Janakpur has been approved, so that the people of this tribal area will not have to go far for treatment. During this, he honored the students who passed the board examinations with good marks after studying in Government Higher Secondary School Kuwarpur. The Chief Minister talked to the students about their future career planning and inquired about the school arrangements in the village. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Basavaraju S. and other officials were present.
