Newly appointed Dhamtari District Collector Abinash Mishra and newly appointed Corporation Commissioner and Smart City MD Vishwadeep were given bouquets by the officers and employees of Municipal Corporation and Smart City and wished them heartily.
Raipur – Newly appointed Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited Vishwadeep, appointed by the General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh Government, has assumed the administrative charge of Corporation Commissioner and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City in the Corporation Commissioner’s office room on the second floor of Municipal Corporation Headquarters Building Mahatma Gandhi Sadan this afternoon. Newly appointed Collector of Dhamtari district Abinash Mishra handed over the administrative charge of Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited to newly appointed Commissioner Vishwadeep. On this occasion, newly appointed District Dhamtari Collector Abinash Mishra of Indian Administrative Service Batch 2018 and newly appointed Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep of Indian Administrative Service Batch 2019 were welcomed by Raipur Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioners, Mr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta, US. Agarwal, Pankaj K. Sharma, Vinod Pandey, Mrs. Krishna Khatik, Chief Engineer U.K. Dhalendra, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anjali Sharma, Jasdev Singh Babra, Mrs. Preeti Singh, Dr. Divya Chandravanshi, Zone 4 Zone Commissioner Arun Dhruv, General Manager Technical of Raipur Smart City Limited Pankaj Kumar Panchayati along with officers and employees of Raipur Municipal Corporation and Raipur Smart City Limited presented bouquets and extended hearty wishes. During this, the family members of the outgoing Municipal Corporation Commissioner and newly appointed District Dhamtari Collector Abinash Mishra were present in the Municipal Corporation Commissioner’s office.
Vishwadeep, the newly appointed Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation and MD of Smart City, held an introductory meeting with the officials of the Municipal Corporation. The Commissioner inquired from the officials about the administrative responsibilities assigned to them. Along with this, he received information regarding the progress of administrative preparations for Swachh Survekshan Abhiyan 2024 in the Municipal Corporation Raipur area and the progress of revenue recovery campaign, as well as the progress and implementation of other public welfare schemes related to development and construction works. The newly appointed Commissioner has given instructions to the concerned officials to properly discharge the administrative responsibilities given in the election program of Raipur Municipal Corporation Chairman (Speaker) and members of Municipal Corporation Appeal Committee, called by Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh in the Corporation General Assembly Auditorium on the fourth floor of the Municipal Corporation Headquarters from 12 noon on Friday, March 7, 2025.
