Chief Minister held a meeting of officials of Surajpur, Korea and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur districts
Gave necessary instructions regarding drinking water, Pradhan Mantri Awas and rural employment
Raipur, 08 May 2025: A joint review meeting of Surajpur, Korea and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur districts was held today in the Zilla Panchayat Auditorium of Surajpur district under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. In the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed in detail the progress of implementation of the schemes of the government and gave many important instructions to the officials. The Chief Minister said that according to the complaints received during Sushasan Tihar, the hand pumps which require repair should be repaired within 10 days. He directed that arrangements should be made for repair soon by expanding the rising pipe in the hand pumps, so that drinking water supply to the villagers can be ensured. The Chief Minister directed the officials to resolve the revenue cases expeditiously as well as distribute the rights records under the ownership scheme. The Chief Minister also directed the officials to resolve matters like undisputed transfer, partition, demarcation and map distribution quickly.
Chief Minister Sai said that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a priority scheme of the government. Special attention should be paid to its progress. Negligence will not be tolerated at any level in the implementation of this scheme. He clearly said that if a beneficiary presents a certificate of approval of Pradhan Mantri Awas, then the vehicle carrying sand being transported by him for building a house should not be stopped by the Mineral Department. Instructions were given to take strict action against those concerned in case of any kind of irregularity in the case of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister clearly said in the meeting that immediate action should be taken against those Awas Mitras who are being negligent in their work. He said that there is a possibility of increase in the number of Pradhan Mantri Awas in the coming times, in such a situation more and more trained masons will be required. For this, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, masons should be ensured training in setting and masonry of building construction, so that they can get employment opportunities and construction works will also be completed at a fast pace. The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure effective implementation of public welfare schemes and their reach to the common people. He said that the priority of the government is villages, poor and farmers, and it is the responsibility of the state government to bring positive change in their lives. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, President of District Panchayat Surajpur Smt. Indumani Paikra, MLA Bhaiyalal Rajwade, Secretary-in-Charge of Manendragarh district Bhuvnesh Yadav, Commissioner of Surguja Division, Inspector General of Police, Collectors of Surajpur, Korea and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Superintendents of Police of all the three districts, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayat and District Magistrates of various departments were present in the meeting.
