Raipur – The Municipal Commissioner and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited, Mr. Abinash Mishra, inspected the projects related to the maintenance, beautification and water purification of the historic Budhatalab, Swami Vivekananda Sarovar, which are being undertaken by Raipur Municipal Corporation and Raipur Smart City Limited. During the inspection, Mr. Mishra reviewed the arrangements in the Budhatalab Vivekananda complex. The agency managing the entire complex, MMT Water Sports Limited, under the Tourism Board, has been directed to review all its operations and focus on the maintenance of the complex, including electricity, lighting, sanitation, cleaning and equipment, ensuring that citizens visiting the area do not face any inconvenience.
The Commissioner and Smart City Managing Director has also instructed the concerned officials to prepare for the launch of the food court at Budhatalab by the Dussehra festival. Instructions have been given to work towards providing citizens with sports activities like yoga, gymnastics, walking and jogging as soon as possible. He further directed the team to plan and work on developing the historic Budhatalab Swami Vivekananda Sarovar in a beautiful manner, similar to Telibandha Talab.
During the inspection, Raipur Smart City Limited’s Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ujjwal Porwal, Additional Municipal Commissioner Mr. Vinod Pandey, Zone 6 Commissioner Mr. Ramesh Jaiswal, General Manager (E&T) Mr. P.K. Panchayati, Deputy Manager Mr. Anshul Sharma, along with other officials from Raipur Smart City Limited and Raipur Municipal Corporation were present.
