Chief Minister participated in the story with his family, the story will conclude on March 27
Raipur 25 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today participated in the 7-day Shiv Mahapuran Katha organized at Madheshwar Mahadev Dham in Mayali of Jashpur district and listened to the story with devotion sitting with the families of special backward tribes Pahadi Korwa and Birhor tribes. It is noteworthy that more than one lakh devotees were present to listen to the Shiv Mahapuran Katha on this occasion. Chief Minister Sai felicitated the storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra ji by garlanding him and presenting a photograph of Madheshwar Mahadev, and also sought his blessings while wishing happiness and prosperity for the people of the state. Chief Minister Sai was accompanied by his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, District Panchayat Chairman Salik Sai, Vice-Presidents Shaurya Pratap Singh Judeo, Pawan Sai, Krishna Kumar Rai, Bharat Singh and senior administrative officers – Commissioner Narendra Dugga, IG Ankit Garg, Collector Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh and a large number of devotees.
Chief Minister’s pilgrimage scheme will start again on 27 March. While addressing the devotees, Chief Minister Sai said that it is a matter of great fortune for all of us that Pandit Pradeep Mishra himself has come to the land of Madheshwar Mahadev to tell the divine story of Lord Shiva. The entire atmosphere has been filled with spiritual energy due to the flow of Shiva devotion going on here for five days. People are getting spiritual knowledge from this holy story. Chief Minister Sai said that the Chief Minister’s pilgrimage scheme will be relaunched on March 27. Under this, interested devotees will be sent to visit various pilgrimage sites. The Chief Minister also informed that under the Ayodhya Dham Ramlala Darshan Yojana, more than 22,000 devotees have visited Lord Shri Ram so far. Villagers of special backward tribes Pahadi Korwa and Birhor tribes also benefited from the divine stream of Shiva Mahapuran Katha. Many devotees from village Pandarsili (Manora), Beherakhar and Bhitghara (Bagichha) reached the story site. Santosh Ram, Bajru Ram, Shankar Ram, Durga Ram from Pahari Korwa tribe and Gendu Ram, Gurubaru Ram, Lakha Ram from Birhor tribe said that Shiv Katha has touched our inner soul. Pradeep Mishra ji’s discourses not only teach devotion, they also give a new direction to life. Madheshwar Mahadev: Centre of Spiritual Faith Chief Minister Sai described Madheshwar Mahadev Dham as a symbol of pride as the world’s largest natural Shivling and said that this place is the centre of religious faith of the entire state. He appealed that maximum number of people should take advantage of this auspicious occasion and inspire themselves with Shiv Bhakti by being present on the remaining two days of the Katha.
