A total of 19 Naxalites, including 9 Naxalites with a reward of Rs 28 lakh, left the path of violence, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the security forces
Raipur, March 17, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai congratulated the security forces on the surrender of a total of 19 Naxalites, including 9 Naxalites with a reward of Rs 28 lakh, before the security forces in Bijapur district and giving up the path of violence, said that the Chhattisgarh government is taking every possible step to keep the morale of its security forces high and to make Bastar Naxal-free. He said that this surrender is a big step towards the peaceful and developed future of Chhattisgarh. He said that the positive impact of the new Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy – 2025 of the Chhattisgarh government has started to be seen.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that our double engine government is doing the work of putting the last nail on the coffin of Naxalism in the form of cancer. He said that people trapped in the vicious cycle of Naxalism are now rejoining the mainstream of society, which is welcome. On this achievement, the Chief Minister, reiterating the resolve of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, said that complete eradication of Naxalism from Chhattisgarh is certain by March 2026. Effective strategy of the government – increased trust of the people The Chief Minister said that the people’s trust in the government has increased due to the continuous establishment of security camps by the State Government in the remote areas of Bastar division, road construction under the Niyad Nella Nar Yojana, expansion of education and health services. Due to this trust, Naxalite organizations are getting weakened and Naxalites are being forced to return to the mainstream. He assured that the government is fully prepared for the rehabilitation and revival of people who give up Naxalism and return to the mainstream.
