Due to shortage of teachers in some districts of Bastar and Surguja divisions, about 1208 schools have remained single teacher. In the near future, the shortage of teachers will be met in schools through promotion of Principal Pathak and Lecturer and direct recruitment of about 5000 teachers, so that no school will remain single teacher and teachers will be met in other schools also where there is a shortage of teachers. The rationalization process has been done under the provisions of the Right to Education Act-2009 and National Education Policy-2020.
