Raipur – Today, former Cabinet Minister of the state and Raipur West MLA Rajesh Munat laid the foundation stone and performed Bhoomi Pujan for the new building of Government New College Gudhiyari near Kota Sheetla pond of Ramakrishna Paramhans Ward No. 20 under Zone No. 8 of Raipur Municipal Corporation under Raipur West Assembly Constituency at the approved cost of Rs. 4 crore 65 lakh 84 thousand provided by the State School Education Department in the presence of Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, Chairman Suryakant Rathore, State Iron Craftsman Development Board Chairman Praful Vishwakarma, Corporation Public Works Department Chairman Deepak Jaiswal, MIC Member Bholaram Sahu, Mrs. Suman Ashok Pandey, Mrs. Gayatri Sunil Chandrakar, Zone 8 Chairman Pritam Singh Thakur, Zone 1 Chairman Gajju Sahu, Zone 7 Chairman Mrs. Shweta Vishwakarma, Ramakrishna Paramhans Ward Councillor Aman Singh Thakur, Anand Agarwal, former Councillors Omkar Bais, Sanat Bais, Kunwar Rajyant Singh Dhruv, Gopi Sahu, Ashish Agarwal, social worker Naveen Sharma, Bajrang Khandelwal, Principal of Government New College Gudhiyari Dr. Madhulika Agarwal, Executive Engineer of State Public Works Department Rajesh Nashine, Additional Commissioner in charge Mrs. Krishna Khatik, Zone 8 Zone Commissioner Mrs. Rajeshwari Patel, along with the city’s eminent personalities, dignitaries, social workers, women, youths, college students, teachers, ward residents, common people in large numbers, in the presence of breaking coconut and using spade, started the work by performing Bhoomi Pujan of the construction and development work of the new building of Government New College and gave a unique gift to the students, teachers, staff and students of the capital.
Former Cabinet Minister and Raipur West MLA Rajesh Munat gave a wonderful gift to the residents of the ward by breaking coconut and using spade to perform Bhoomi Pujan for various new development works including construction of toilets in the area of Ramakrishna Paramhans Ward No. 20 under Municipal Corporation Zone 8 under Raipur West Assembly constituency, construction of new community buildings at two different places, construction of toilets in the area of Ramakrishna Paramhans Ward No. 20 under Municipal Corporation Zone 8, at an approved cost of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh. Former Cabinet Minister and West MLA Rajesh Munat called the contractor of State Public Works Department, who was contracted to build the new building of Government New College, on the stage and encouraged him by giving him a bouquet. The contractor told the public from the stage that he will construct the new building of Government New College in 15 months. Former minister and West MLA Rajesh Moonat directed the contractor to do quality work within the stipulated time frame of next 15 months. Rajesh Moonat instructed the Municipal Corporation officials from the stage to start the work of building permanent houses for the poor under Atal Awas Yojana by securing land for the economically weaker section people in 20 wards of Municipal Corporation Raipur under Raipur West Assembly constituency and by building boundary wall to keep it safe, as per the intention of the government of the successful Prime Minister of the nation Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai. Rajesh Moonat appreciated the efficient working of the Nodal Officer in charge of the Corporation, Additional Commissioner Mrs. Krishna Khatik, appointed for inspection and supervision of all the works related to drinking water in 20 wards of Municipal Corporation Raipur of Raipur West Assembly constituency and suggested her to take necessary administrative action in public interest to get immediate solution of drinking water related problems of the residents of the 20 wards of Municipal Corporation Raipur of Raipur West Assembly constituency in summer. Former Cabinet Minister and West MLA has appealed to the Ward Councillors of Raipur West Assembly constituency to inspect the wards daily and give priority to works related to cleanliness, drinking water, street lights in the wards and meet the residents and listen to their problems and get them resolved immediately by the officials. Rajesh Moonat instructed the officials from the stage to get the works of the public done. Officials with a tendency to delay work should change their working style, otherwise if they are found to be delaying work and negligent, he will not hesitate to take strict action against the concerned officer. Former Cabinet Minister and Raipur West MLA Rajesh Moonat praised Zone 8 Zone President Pritam Singh Thakur from the stage for the continuous efforts made to identify vacant government land for the construction of a new building of Government Naveen Mahavidyalaya. He heartily congratulated all the residents of the ward including Ward Councillor Aman Singh Thakur on the commencement of new development work worth about Rs. 6.5 crore in Ramakrishna Paramhans Ward today. Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey described former cabinet minister and West MLA Rajesh Moonat as the development man of the city and said that whatever resolution Rajesh Moonat ji takes, he definitely fulfills it.
There are many public representatives, but there are very few public representatives like Rajesh Moonat ji who are always ready to remove the suffering of the public. Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey asked the officials to complete all the development works within the time limit with quality and appealed to the ward councilors to inspect the quality of new development works in public interest and if any deficiency is found in it, then directly inform her or Raipur West MLA Rajesh Moonat ji, so that the necessary improvement in the quality of development works can be done by the officials immediately. Chairman Suryakant Rathore described West MLA Rajesh Moonat as a developing MLA and said that Rajesh Moonat ji not only starts the development work, but also ensures that the development work is completed within the time limit with quality by continuously reviewing it till its completion. Principal of Government Naveen Mahavidyalaya, Dr. Madhulika Agarwal said that the then Cabinet Minister Rajesh Munat inaugurated the Government Naveen Kanya Mahavidyalaya in the premises of Shashibala Kanya Shala Gudhiyari during the year 2018. Later the college started being set up in the Sanskrit College campus. The School Education Department has approved Rs 4 crore 65 lakh 84 thousand for the new building of the college, which approval is the result of the continuous efforts of Raipur West MLA Rajesh Munat. Before this, first of all, former Cabinet Minister and Raipur West MLA Rajesh Munat, along with Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey, Chairman Suryakant Rathore, Iron Craftsman Development Board Chairman Praful Vishwakarma, Zone Presidents, MIC members, Ward Councilors, inaugurated the foundation stone laying and Bhoomi Pujan program by garlanding and lighting lamps in front of the statue of Goddess Adi Shakti Mata Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge.
