Raipur, 19 May 2025: “I have come to your house to know how the government is working, everything is fine, right? You people are getting the benefits of government schemes, right? If you have any problem, please tell me.” This is what Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, who suddenly reached Chukatipani village of GPM district by helicopter during Sushasan Tihar. Seeing the helicopter, a crowd of people gathered in the Baiga dominated village and the villagers were surprised to see the Chief Minister among them. The village head of the Baiga community welcomed the Chief Minister by garlanding him with a Gulmohar garland and Baiga villager Raita Baiga thanked the Chief Minister for coming to the village by giving him a basket full of tendu fruit. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai asked the villagers present there about the government schemes. During this, the Chief Minister reprimanded the sub-engineer of the PHE department on the complaint of the villagers. The Chief Minister said that either do the work or be ready to be suspended. During this, Sai also expressed displeasure over the wastage of water after seeing the water overflowing from the water tank.
The Chief Minister said that the government is fulfilling its biggest promise of providing housing to every poor and in this sequence 179 PM houses have been approved in Chuktipani also. On asking the women about the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, they told that they are working by forming self-help groups with the money of the scheme and are earning income by growing vegetables with domestic manure and selling them in all the nearby markets. The local women also presented red vegetables grown in vermicompost to the Chief Minister. During this, the Chief Minister announced to repair the middle school of Chuktipani village on the demand of the villagers and also announced to upgrade the school ground as a mini stadium.
