Raipur, 10 December 2024-Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Manpur-Mohla-Ambagadh Chowki district, Vijay Sharma today gave gifts of many development works to the people of Mohla-Manpur Ambagadh Chowki district. He inaugurated 55 different development works constructed at a cost of Rs 14 crore 07 lakh 13 thousand in a program organized in Gram Panchayat Pendakodo. Also, the Bhoomi Pujan of 80 different development works to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 12 crore 69 lakh 13 thousand was done. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Vijay Sharma announced several development works on the demand of the people of the area. He announced the sanction of Rs. 10 lakh for the construction of community building near Garhmata temple in Gram Panchayat Pendakodo. Similarly, he announced the sanction of Rs. 10 lakh for CC road construction work here. Rs. 04 lakh for CC road construction work in Gotatola, prepared an estimate for road construction work from Manpur to Mohla via Dhobedand Highway to the main road and announced the sanction of funds for the proposed work from the Prime Minister or Chief Minister Road. Giving a big gift to the people of the area, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma directed to prepare an immediate case for the allotment of Community Forest Rights lease in 22 Gram Panchayats and allocate Community Forest Rights lease. Similarly, he announced the sanction of Rs. 2 lakh for stage construction work in village Kulhardoh and Rs. 2 lakh for new stage construction work in village Majiapar.
Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Vijay Sharma, while addressing the program, said that the government is doing the works of public concern on priority basis while discharging moral values with ease, cleanliness and good governance. In his address, he said that every promise made to the people of the state and the country is being fulfilled with utmost sincerity by giving priority to it. He said that all the areas are being developed without any discrimination while discharging political moral values. He further said that work is being done to draw a new line of development in the country and the state. He said that the work of construction of Ram temple has been done while respecting the sentiments of the people. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while describing Naxalism as destructive for the society, said that eradicating Naxalism is included in the priority of the government. He said that for the development of the state, society and the country, the doors of prosperity will open for the people through the path of development. He further said that giving opportunities and chances to women brings revolutionary change in the society. He said that the successful Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, understanding this, has taken the initiative of giving 33 percent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and the Legislative Assembly.
Praising the state government Mr. Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma said that under the able leadership of the Chief Minister, women have been provided an opportunity to live a life with respect. To make women self-reliant, an amount of Rs 1000 is being provided to women every month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that as per the promise made to the people of the state, 21 quintals of paddy is being purchased at the rate of Rs 3100. Tendu leaves are being purchased from tendu leaf collectors at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard sack. Farmers have been given the outstanding bonus amount of 2 years. He further said that all the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana projects which were stuck in Chhattisgarh have been approved. This has made the dream of the poor to have their own house come true. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma honoured people who did remarkable work in various fields by presenting them with citation letters.
