Chief Minister Say attended Vishnu Maha Yagya in village Gahira: Blessed newly married couples in mass marriage

Raipur, 11 February 2025 – Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reached Sant Gahira Guru Ashram in village Gahira located in Lalunga area of ​​​​Raigarh district, where he offered flowers on the photograph of Param Pujya Gahira Guru ji and received his blessings and participated in Vishnu Maha Yagya and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. On this occasion, he paid tribute by offering flowers at the Samadhi Sthal of Sant Gahira Guru ji. Chief Minister Say said that he has a deep emotional relationship with village Gahira, it is the birthplace of revered Sant Gahira Guru ji and a holy place. He recalled that he got the privilege of becoming an MP from Raigarh parliamentary constituency for the first time due to the blessings of this holy land. He said that during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure as Prime Minister, MPs were asked to adopt a village in their area and do development work, then he chose village Gahira and did development work here, although some works remained incomplete. On coming to village Gahira again as Chief Minister, he said that perhaps this is an opportunity to complete those incomplete works.

Chief Minister Sai praised the contribution made by Gahira Guru Sant Samaj in Sanatan Dharma and social upliftment and said that there was a time when conversions, social evils and addictions were increasing in the tribal community, then Sant Gahira Guru ji took up the task of social reform, conducted yagya in every village, got Ramcharitmanas recited and made the society spiritually aware. He said that today this institution is working to strengthen Sanatan Dharma in the entire state, make the society aware and encourage Sanskrit education. The Chief Minister also praised the fact that through the institution, children of the tribal community are studying Sanskrit and schools and colleges are being run, taking a commendable initiative in the promotion of Sanatan culture.

Chief Minister Sai said that Lord Shri Ram had spent most of his 14 years of exile in Chhattisgarh, evidence of which is still present at various places in the state. Inviting the people of the state for Prayagraj Mahakumbh, he said that complete arrangements for the stay of the devotees have been made by the Chhattisgarh government. He said that sustainable development and good governance are being given priority in the state, so that every citizen gets the benefit of prosperity and good governance. Chief Minister Sai attended the mass marriage ceremony organized in village Gahira and introduced himself to the newly married couples and blessed them for a happy married life. Chief Minister Sai said that the work of good governance and development is continuing in Chhattisgarh with the blessings of Saint Gahira Guru Ji. Our government is determined to take Chhattisgarh to new heights of development while keeping the culture and spiritual traditions of the state intact. On this occasion, Saint Samaj Organization President Babruwahan Maharaj, Secretary Khirendra Maharaj, Ravi Bhagat, Shanta Bhagat, Manoj Satpati, Bhaskar Behera, Madhukar Singhania and other dignitaries were present.
