7 handcarts removed, 2 handcarts confiscated, Rs. 3000 fine imposed
Raipur – Today, Zone 5 Urban Investment Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur, on the instructions of Zone 5 Commissioner Mrs. Rajeshwari Patel, in the presence of Deputy Engineer Urban Investment Department Tikendra Chandrakar, with the help of Police Station Force Traffic Department, along with a team of workers, a campaign was run from Aamapara Chowk to Anupam Garden to free the road from encroachment by making the traffic smooth and well-organized for public convenience in public interest on GE Marg of the capital city Raipur and the said area of GE Marg was made encroachment free. During this, Zone 5 Urban Investment Department removed 7 handcarts, confiscated 2 handcarts and imposed a total fine of Rs. 3000 on the encroachers. The campaign to maintain smooth traffic on the main road for public convenience in public interest will continue in future as well.
