Raipur – Today, on the instructions of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra directly observed the arrangements of polling stations under the Municipal Corporation Zone No. 1 and 2 in the presence of Corporation Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anjali Sharma, Zone 1 Zone Commissioner Hitendra Yadav, Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R. K. Dongre, Executive Engineer Gajaram Kanwar, D. K. Paikra, P. D. Dhrtlahare and other concerned officers and gave necessary instructions. The Commissioner visited the Khamtarai Government Higher Secondary School polling station under Corporation Zone 1 area. Here, on the instructions of the Election Commission, arrangement of Pink polling station is being provided. Direct observation was made of the arrangements of 15 polling stations of Pandit Kashiram Sharma Government School Bhanpuri, 10 polling stations of Bhanpuri School, 10 polling stations of Mahavir School and all the polling stations of Durga College and Nivedita Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Lions Club Greater Hall Nivedita School Campus Gurunanak Chowk under the area of Municipal Corporation Zone 2. Commissioner Abinash Mishra has directed the officials to ensure that all the necessary basic facilities are made available on priority basis in all the polling stations as per the guidelines of Chhattisgarh State Election Commission and Raipur District Election Officer Office (Local Election). Commissioner Abinash Mishra directed the concerned officials of the Municipal Corporation to make arrangements for shade as per the requirement in the polling stations, to get ramps made, wall writing done, cleanliness, pure drinking water, lighting arrangements, cleaning of toilets and to maintain cleanliness in the entire premises of all the polling stations.
