People should be made aware by organizing workshops at the district level
Raipur 6 May 2025: Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain has directed all the collectors of the state to effectively implement the 10 revolutions made in the registration of properties at the district level. He said that people should be informed about the revolutionary reforms made in the interest of the general public. Chief Secretary Jain has said that the aim of the 10 public utility aspects of the Registration Department is to make the property registration process more transparent, simple, digital and citizen-centric. Through facilities like Aadhaar based authentication, online encumbrance free certificate, WhatsApp information service, sitting at home, registry and automatic transfer, the general public will now be able to get the benefit of registration much more easily. He has asked the collectors to organize workshops at the district level for effective implementation of these reforms and keep continuous monitoring and inform the general public about the services.
The Chief Secretary has said that with the participation of the collectors, this initiative will be successful at the ground level and Chhattisgarh will be strengthened as a strong model of good governance. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had launched 10 revolutionary reforms of the Registration Department on May 3. These include services like Aadhaar verification to prevent fake registration, registry search and download, online encumbrance-free certificate, cashless payment of stamp and registration fees, WhatsApp services, DG locker services, automatic creation of registry documents, document creation with stamp at home, registry at home, automatic transfer with registry.
