Raipur, 5 May 2025: Under Sushasan Tihar 2025, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai surprised the villagers by suddenly reaching Karigaon in Sakti district today. The Chief Minister’s helicopter landed directly in Bandora village instead of Limgaon, due to which the administrative staff was confused for some time. The administration was already busy preparing to welcome the Chief Minister in Limgaon, but with the arrival of the Chief Minister at Karigaon, all the arrangements had to be shifted there immediately. The Chief Minister held a chaupal under a peepal tree in Karigaon and communicated directly with the villagers. The Chief Minister kept listening to the problems of the villagers in a comfortable environment while sitting on a cot. The villagers and especially the women welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting a lotus flower. The Chief Minister listened to everyone carefully and also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that good governance means going directly among the public and understanding their real situation and giving quick solutions. The administrative system is considered successful only when the last person’s voice reaches the government directly.

Dileshwari, a resident of Karigaon in Sakti district, was surprised when she saw Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai standing in front of her eyes. The Chief Minister asked Dileshwari about the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Dileshwari said that this scheme works as a support to meet their financial needs. Actually, today during Sushasan Tihar, the Chief Minister’s helicopter suddenly landed in Bandora village of Sakti district. From here, the Chief Minister reached nearby Karigaon and held a Chaupal under a Peepal tree here. On finding the Chief Minister among them, the villagers welcomed him by giving a lotus flower from the nearby Paithu pond. During this, the rural women performed the aarti of the Chief Minister and welcomed him by applying a tilak of turmeric and rice. After this, the Chief Minister sat on a cot under the Peepal tree and talked to the villagers.

Chief Minister Sai took information from the villagers about PM Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Paddy Bonus, Ayushman Yojana and asked about their problems and also solved them immediately. During this, Chief Minister Sai took information about the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and went to the house of village resident Sonai Bai and inspected the house built under the scheme. The Chief Minister appealed to the villagers to plant other crops besides paddy in summer. This will reduce water consumption and electricity bill will also be less, which will benefit the farmers more. The Chief Minister said that he is fully committed to the welfare of the villagers and the development of the area. Based on the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister immediately announced to build a new Panchayat Bhawan in Karigaon, to operate the Patwari office in Karigaon one day a week and to beautify the Noni Maiya Devi temple located in the village. The Chief Minister also said that action will be taken as per rules after investigating the complaints of illegal land occupation in the village. During this, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister P Dayanand were also present with the Chief Minister.
