Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s Resolution

 

Raipur, 13 August 2025 l Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying program organized in village Pipariya of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, said that Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district was formed during the previous government, but the previous government did not pay serious attention to the development of its infrastructure. He said that our government has taken the initiative to remove this deficiency and now Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai will be equipped with strong infrastructure and modern facilities, so that the all-round development of this place is ensured.

In the program, Chief Minister Sai gave the historic gift of 71 development works worth Rs 611.21 crore in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, which includes Bhoomi Pujan of 18 works worth Rs 470.98 crore and inauguration of 53 works worth Rs 140.23 crore.

Chief Minister Sai said that with these development works, a solid start has been made towards realizing the dream of developed Khairagarh. He assured that the dreams cherished by the elders, youth, mothers and sisters of the district will be fulfilled. Respecting public sentiments, he announced the development of Palimeta as a tourist area, construction of a high-level water tank at Chhuikhadan at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, opening of ‘Paan Cafe’ to promote betel cultivation, construction of a 500-seater fully equipped auditorium in Khairagarh and establishment of a college in Mudhipar. He assured that these works will be included in the budget of the coming financial year.

Chief Minister Sai said that he has an emotional and soulful attachment with Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Kawardha and Manpur-Mohla. Now, when he has got the reins of the state, he is leading Chhattisgarh on the path of development with full dedication and loyalty. He said that in the last one and a half years, the government has rapidly implemented schemes for the welfare of every section and concrete steps are being taken towards realizing the guarantees given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Sai said that to protect the interests of farmers, 21 quintals of paddy per acre is being purchased at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal, due to which they are getting the benefit of direct and remunerative price. Similarly, 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and their construction is going on at a rapid pace, due to which skilled workers engaged in masonry, centering plate construction and other construction work in the villages are getting employment.

Describing the ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’ as a revolutionary initiative to make women economically self-reliant, he said that soon its forms will be filled again. At present, 70 lakh women of the state are receiving financial assistance every month from this scheme and many women have also started their own business.

Chief Minister Sai also mentioned the increase in purchase rates in the interest of tendu leaf collectors, financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to 5.62 lakh agricultural landless laborers of the state and Ayodhya darshan to 22 thousand devotees so far under Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the public, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district will soon be included in the leading districts of the state with strong infrastructure and comprehensive development.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is the first government in the country, which is purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at the support price of Rs 3,100 per quintal. He said that the aim of the government is not only to make schemes but also to implement them 100% so that the benefits reach the person standing in the last row.

On this occasion, Industry Minister Mr. Lakhan Lal Devangan, MP Mr. Santosh Pandey, Khairagarh MLA Mrs. Yashoda Verma along with other public representatives, officials and other dignitaries were present.
