Historic public meeting to be held on March 30 at Mohbhattha in Bilaspur
Raipur, March 27, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai himself reached the venue today and reviewed the preparations for the proposed huge public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at village Mohbhattha in Bodri tehsil of Bilaspur district on March 30. He thoroughly inspected all the important arrangements related to the program – main stage, helipad, green room, cultural stage, seating arrangements for beneficiaries and special guests etc. Chief Minister Sai held a meeting of officials on the spot and directed that all preparations for this historic meeting organized in an area of 55 acres should be timely, well-organized and public interest-centric. It was told in the meeting that about 2 lakh people from across the state are expected to attend the program, in view of which all departments have been asked to work on alert mode. Chief Minister Sai said that this will be the biggest Chhattisgarh visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi till date. His arrival is taking place on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, which is a very auspicious sign for the development of the state. Chief Minister Sai said that we ourselves had gone to Delhi and invited him, and today the entire state is eager to welcome him.
Chief Minister Sai informed that in this historic event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate development works worth about ₹ 33,000 crore. These include schemes run under PM Janman Yojana especially for tribes like Birhor, Baiga and Pahadi Korwa, which will give a new direction to the development of tribal areas of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai directed the district administration that it is the primary responsibility of the administration to bring the beneficiaries from their homes to the meeting place and bring them back safely. He directed to ensure adequate arrangements for water, shade, medical care etc. in view of the summer season. Chief Minister Sai said that under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, the local administration is engaged in preparations with full dedication and this program will be recorded as a historical memory in the life of the people of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that all necessary preparations are being ensured at the meeting place for the successful organization of the public meeting. On this occasion, MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik, Amar Agarwal, Dharamjit Singh, Punnulal Mohle, Sushant Shukla, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister P Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kavre, IG Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Awanish Sharan and other senior officers were present.
