Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Reached The Residence Of Litterateur Vinod Kumar Shukla And Met Him

On the announcement of Gyanpeeth Award, Chief Minister Sai congratulated Shukla on behalf of all the people of the state.

Raipur 23 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reached the residence of senior litterateur Vinod Kumar Shukla in Raipur and met him. Chief Minister Sai congratulated Shukla on the announcement of Gyanpeeth Award. The Chief Minister told Vinod Kumar Shukla that you have increased the prestige of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai honored Shukla on behalf of all the people of the state and presented him a shawl-shriphal and Nandi, the symbol of Bastar Art. Chief Minister Sai told Vinod Kumar Shukla that the entire state is feeling proud with the announcement of giving you the country’s most prestigious Gyanpeeth Award for your special contribution in the field of literature. It is my good fortune that today I am getting the opportunity to meet you in this moment of happiness.

The Chief Minister inquired about the well-being of Vinod Kumar Shukla and inquired about his health. Chief Minister Sai said that you are a resident of Rajnandgaon. Rajnandgaon is the cultural capital of Chhattisgarh. Writers like Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh, Dr. Padmlal Punnalal Bakshi and Baldev Prasad Mishra have done their literary work there. When the Chief Minister mentioned Rajnandgaon, Shukla shared the memories of his childhood days of Nandgaon with him. Shukla said that I was born in Rajnandgaon. That Nandgaon of my childhood is still etched in my mind. Even today, when I go there, I try to find that same Nandgaon. But now a lot has changed with time. The Chief Minister also met the family members of Vinod Kumar Shukla and enquired about their well-being.
