Big success for security forces: Two Naxalites killed in Sukma, 67 hardcore Naxalites wiped out in 60 days
Raipur, March 1, 2025: The fight to end Naxalism in Chhattisgarh has reached a decisive turn. The security forces have got another big success, where two Naxalites were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Sukma district. At the same time, 67 hardcore Naxalites have been killed in the Bastar range within the last 60 days.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai congratulated the security forces for this remarkable achievement, praising their indomitable courage, loyalty and commitment. He said that ever since the double engine government has been formed in Chhattisgarh, the campaign being run to end Naxalism has got new momentum and direction. This fight is now in its decisive phase. It is noteworthy that in the last 13 months, under strict action against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, more than 300 Naxalites have been killed, more than 985 Naxalites have surrendered and 1177 Naxalites have been arrested. Naxalism will be completely eradicated by 2026. Chief Minister Sai said that the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ji have resolved that Naxalism will be completely eradicated from Chhattisgarh by 31 March 2026. He said that a decisive blow is being given to Naxalism through a joint strategy of the State Government and the security forces. This campaign will continue till the problem of Naxalism is completely eradicated. He said that the Chhattisgarh Government is rapidly moving ahead on the path of peace, security and development, and this success is a proof of this determination.
