Raipur 7 January 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today paid emotional tribute to the martyred soldiers and the driver by offering wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyred soldiers and the driver in the ID blast in village Ambeli on Kutru-Bedre road in Bijapur district on Monday at Karli Police Line in Dantewada. He met the families of the martyred soldiers and expressed condolences and consoled them. The Chief Minister said that the state government is with them at every step.

Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister and Minister in charge Kedar Kashyap, Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, Dantewada MLA Chaitram Atami, Bijapur MLA Vikram Mandavi, former MP Deepak Baij, former MLA Ms. Devti Karma along with DGP Ashok Juneja, Chief Minister’s Secretary Rahul Bhagat, ADGP Vivekanand Sinha, Commissioner Bastar Doman Singh, IG Bastar Range Sundarraj P., DIGs Kamalochan Kashyap and Amit Kamble, Collector Mayank Chaturvedi, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rai along with police and CRPF officers and other public representatives and dignitaries paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of the martyred soldiers and the driver.

Chief Minister Say along with Deputy Chief Minister and Forest Minister shouldered the mortal remains of martyred soldier Baman Sodhi and sent him to his native village. Also, the mortal remains of other martyred soldiers and the driver were sent to their native villages.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the cowardly attack by Naxalites in Kutru area of ​​Bijapur is not only an attack on our soldiers, but also on the values ​​of democracy and peace. The sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain. The campaign to eliminate Naxalites will continue.

Chief Minister Sai said that violence and terror will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Our government is fully committed to establishing peace in Bastar division and Naxalism will be eradicated in the state by March 2026.

It is noteworthy that 8 DRG jawans and a driver were martyred in the IED blast carried out by Naxalites in Kutru area of ​​​​Bijapur district.
