Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari This Evening To Discuss Roads And Development Schemes Of The State

New Delhi, 31 July 2025. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari at his official residence this evening. On this occasion, the two leaders discussed in detail the construction of national highways in Chhattisgarh, progress of road projects and future infrastructure plans. Giving information to Gadkari about the major road projects going on in the state, the Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to completing the construction works in a timely manner. He said that efforts are being made rapidly to connect the remote and tribal areas of the state with the main roads, so that the people there can also get better connectivity and economic opportunities.

It was also discussed in the meeting that strengthening the road network in industrial areas, new districts is necessary for the overall development of the state. The Chief Minister emphasized that roads are not only a means of travel, but are the foundation of employment, investment and social change. Union Minister Gadkari praised the priorities of the Chhattisgarh government and assured that the Central Government will continue to provide all possible support to the state. He said that providing roads to tribal areas will not only accelerate development but will also bring permanent change in those areas. Chief Minister Anjor also informed about the state’s long-term strategy under “Vision 2047”, which aims to develop an integrated and environment-friendly transport system. He informed that the Chhattisgarh government is giving priority to road connectivity in rural and border areas, so that development can reach every citizen.
