Raipur, 27 May 2025: On the occasion of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today gifted 24 different development works to the people of Raigarh district at a cost of Rs 330 crore 29 lakh. These include 17 inaugurations worth Rs 220 crore and Bhoomi Pujan of 7 works worth Rs 110 crore.
On the special initiative of the Chief Minister, construction works of many important roads have been completed in Raigarh district. The major works inaugurated by the Chief Minister include widening and renovation work of Raigarh-Dharamjaygarh road (56 km) at the cost of Rs 93 crore 59 lakh, Punjipathra to Tamnar Milupara road (27.50 km) (CC Road) (26 km) at the cost of Rs 65 crore 19 lakh, road repair/construction up to Baraliya via Kasdol-Bhaisgadhi-Badgaon in Raigarh district (length 14.40 km) at the cost of Rs 16 crore 92 lakh 37 thousand, upgradation of Kodatarai-Pusaur-Surajgarh road (length 8.30 km) at the cost of Rs 8 crore 71 lakh, Bade Bhandar-Umaria-Pusaur-Rengalpali road (length 7.425 km) at the cost of Rs 7 crore 95 lakh. And inaugurated the construction work of Transport Office building in Raigarh district at the cost of Rs. 93 lakh 15 thousand.
The major works for which the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone include construction work of Integrated Sports Complex building in Raigarh district at the cost of Rs. 97 crore 52 lakh, construction work of 3.50 km length Gotma-Kotasura road at the cost of Rs. 3 crore 92 lakh, construction work of 2 km length road from village-Aurada, Government Primary School to Government Warehouse at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 71 lakh, construction work of Ex-Servicemen Welfare Integrated Complex-cum-Medicare Complex Raigarh at the cost of Rs. 1 crore 27 lakh and construction work of Government High School Gersa in development block Dharamjaigarh at the cost of Rs. 75 lakh 23 thousand. During this, Agriculture Minister and Minister in charge of the district Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary, Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Municipal Corporation Mayor Jivardhan Chauhan, District Panchayat President Shikha Ravindra Gavel, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Sunil Jain, IG Sanjeev Shukla and public representatives were present.
