Raipur 9 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today conducted a surprise inspection of the district hospital in Mahasamund district in the third phase of Sushasan Tihar. During the inspection, Chief Minister Sai reviewed the arrangements of the hospital and interacted with the patients and enquired about their well-being. On this occasion, State Food and District In-charge Minister Dayaldas Baghel, MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary and Mahasamund MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha were also present. Chief Minister Sai interacted with the patients admitted in the hospital and listened to their problems seriously. During the inspection, Chief Minister Sai also met 60-year-old patient Ganga Ram, who told that he was admitted to the hospital due to weakness, but after four days of treatment, he is now feeling healthy. He appreciated the hospital’s arrangements, treatment and behavior of the doctors.
After this, Chief Minister Sai inspected the dialysis ward and interacted with kidney patients and obtained information related to their treatment. He talked cordially with Atul Chandrakar, a patient requiring kidney transplant. When Chandrakar pleaded for help, Chief Minister Sai assured that he would bear the entire cost of the transplant as soon as a donor is arranged. Chief Minister Sai directed the hospital administration to ensure better healthcare services to all patients and negligence of any kind would not be tolerated. He also said that the state government is giving top priority to healthcare services so that every citizen can get quality and accessible treatment. Collector Vinay Langeh, Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Singh, Chief Medical and Health Officer, hospital staff, and a large number of patients and their families were present on the occasion.
