Raipur, 23 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Chhattisgarh’s traditional folk festival Hareli. He said that Hareli is a festival linked to the soil of Chhattisgarh, which is a symbol of our agricultural culture, folk tradition and love for nature. The Chief Minister said that Hareli festival is the first festival related to farming, in which farmers express gratitude to Mother Earth by worshiping their agricultural equipment. This festival is not only an occasion to wish for a good harvest, but also expresses the feeling of harmony with nature.
Sai urged the people of the state to make Hareli festival even more meaningful this year – plant trees along with worshiping Mother Earth, so that a green future can be ensured for the coming generations. This festival should not only be a tradition, but also a symbol of responsibility towards the environment. The Chief Minister expressed hope that Hareli festival brings happiness, prosperity and greenery in the lives of the people of the state. He called upon all the citizens to celebrate this folk festival with mutual harmony, love for nature and respect for tradition.
