Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Virtually Participated In The Closing Ceremony Of Divya Shiv Mahapuran Katha

Rs 10 crore will be given for the development of the holy land of Lord Madheshwar, pilgrimage tourism will get a new dimension

Devotees are getting spiritual benefits from Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana and Tirthdarshan Yojana

Raipur, 4 August 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai addressed the closing ceremony of Divya Shiv Mahapuran Katha organized near the world’s largest natural Shivling Madheshwar mountain in Mayali under Kunkuri development block of Jashpur district through online medium from the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur on the auspicious occasion of the fourth Monday of the holy Shravan month. This seven-day Divya Katha series of Shravan month was organized by Mahamadheswar Dham Samiti from 28 July to 4 August 2025, in which the famous storyteller of Ayodhya, Pujya Devkinandan Ji Maharaj mesmerized thousands of devotees with the nectar-like voice of Shiv Mahapuran. The Chief Minister saluted all the saints associated with the Vyaspeeth and congratulated and thanked the committee for the grand event. In his address, Chief Minister Sai said that Shiva and Shakti are present in every particle of Chhattisgarh and the state gets spiritual energy from these holy places. He informed that an amount of ₹10 crore has been received from the Central Government for the development of Madheshwar Mahadev Dham and the State Government is working at a rapid pace for infrastructure development and devotee facilities. Referring to the major places of Lord Shiva in the state, the Chief Minister said that Lord Shiva is giving darshan to the devotees in various forms like Madheshwar Pahad in Mayali, Baba Bhoramdev in Kawardha, Kuleshwar Mahadev in Rajim, Bhuteshwar Mahadev in Gariaband and Laxmaneshwar Mahadev in Kharoud of Janjgir-Champa. He said that this entire state is full of Shiva.

Sai informed that Shakti Corridor Scheme has been started for the development of five major Shaktipeeths in Chhattisgarh. This includes Bamleshwari Devi of Dongargarh, Mahamaya Devi of Ratanpur, Chandrahasini Mata of Chandrapur, Danteshwari Devi of Dantewada. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, pilgrimage tourism is being given a new direction. Referring to the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that so far more than 22 thousand devotees have received the benefit of darshan of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya Dham. He said that this scheme has become a powerful medium to connect devotees with devotion towards Lord Shri Ram. In the same sequence, referring to the re-started Chief Minister Tirthdarshan Yojana, he said that under this scheme, elderly devotees of the state are being taken to visit 19 major pilgrimage sites of the country, due to which they are experiencing spiritual satisfaction and faith in life. On the closing occasion, the Chief Minister wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the state and prayed that the blessings of Baba Bholenath always remain on all the devotees. He congratulated the Mahamadheswar Dham Committee for the success of the event and said that the state government will make Chhattisgarh a new religious and tourist destination by coordinating faith, culture and development.
