Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Reached Galgam, Boosted The Morale Of The Soldiers

Raipur 15 May 2025 – Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reached Galgam, an interior village of Usur tehsil of Bijapur district, where he met CRPF personnel and local villagers and discussed the success of the recent anti-Naxal operation. In this operation, the security forces killed 31 notorious Maoist terrorists and recovered a large quantity of weapons in an operation that lasted for 21 days on the hill of Karegutta. Chief Minister Sai described this campaign as an important step towards the goal of Naxal-free Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai started the address with the slogan of Bharat Mata and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. He said that our soldiers have made this operation successful with indomitable courage and dedication. This is a big achievement not only for Bijapur but for the entire state. The area of ​​​​Galgam and Karegutta has long been considered a stronghold of Naxalites and this campaign has raised new hopes towards making this area safe. During the meeting with CRPF jawans, Sai praised their courage and said that it is because of your bravery and dedication that we are winning this battle against Naxalism.

 

Chief Minister Sai said that it has been one and a half years since we came to power and during this period we have tried to establish good governance in the state. Chief Minister Sai said that you are continuously carrying out many difficult anti-Naxal operations. You run operations even in 44 degree heat. I salute the indomitable courage of such jawans. He told that he considers the security camp as a facility camp because through the security camp, many types of facilities are now reaching the remote areas of Bastar.

Chief Minister Sai said that when our government came, the first camp in this area was opened in Muller. Today, facilities like ration facility, electricity, health, school, mobile tower have started being available in Muller and surrounding villages. Under the leadership and guidance of the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the anti-Naxal campaign is getting continuous success. The state has a target to make Chhattisgarh Naxal-free by March 2026, certainly, thanks to the indomitable courage of the force personnel, we will fulfill this resolution. He said that the Niyad Nella Nar scheme in Bastar has played an important role in connecting with the local people.

During his visit, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai also met the rural beneficiaries and distributed ration cards, Ayushman cards to them and provided acceptance letters to the special project Naxal-affected and surrendered families under the PM Awas Yojana. He assured the villagers that the government will carry out development work in the area at a faster pace and will also promote education, health and employment opportunities. Chief Minister Sai said that the target is to make Chhattisgarh completely Naxal-free by March 2026, and for this, cooperation of security forces as well as local communities is also necessary.

Chief Minister Sai said that basic facilities like roads, electricity and water will be strengthened in the area, so that the villagers can join the mainstream. Along with this, education and health services will be given priority in Naxal-affected areas. Chief Minister Sai took a picture with the soldiers in Galgam camp and boosted their morale by shouting Bharat Mata ki Jai. The soldiers also showed their patriotic spirit by raising slogans. The Chief Minister also sat and had food with the soldiers.

In his address at the event held in Galgam camp, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam praised the civic action being done by the force personnel. At the same time, Collector Bijapur Mr. Sambit Mishra told Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai that under Sushasan Tihar-2025, a Samadhan camp was organized in Galgam only yesterday. During this time, a total of 1590 applications were received in the Galgam cluster, most of which were for forest rights certificates, which are being examined and meaningful action is being taken.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh, Bastar Range IG Mr. Sundarraj P., DIG Mr. Kamalochan Kashyap, Collector Mr. Sambit Mishra, Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav and many senior officers and security forces personnel were present.
