Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Inaugurated The New Building Of Government Regional Printing Press

New building constructed at a cost of 9 crores in Rajnandgaon

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the new building of Government Regional Printing Press constructed at a cost of 9 crores in Chikhli of Rajnandgaon district. Important documents of government departments are published here. The Chief Minister also inspected the newly constructed building of Government Printing Press and the publication and other arrangements there. Government Regional Printing Press building located in Rajnandgaon is the only government printing press in Chhattisgarh where important government documents are published. The need for a new building was felt due to the old building of the printing press being very old.

Paper godown, printing material store, binding and paper store, mechanical store, composing and reading room, type store, camera room, assistant superintendent room, director room, conference room and other necessary arrangements have been kept in the new building of Government Printing Press. There are 4 big halls and 12 rooms here. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Vijay Sharma, MP Santosh Pandey, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav along with other public representatives and officers-employees of the Government Printing Press were present.
