Raipur 10 August 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has paid tribute to the first woman MP of Chhattisgarh and social worker Late Minimata ji on her death anniversary. Chief Minister Sai said that Minimata ji dedicated her entire life to the protection and upliftment of the rights of the deprived sections of the society, women, Dalits and the poor. Chief Minister Sai said that Minimata ji raised her voice strongly against social evils like child marriage, dowry system and untouchability and made a significant contribution towards many important social reforms while in Parliament. Service, simplicity and sensitivity were always reflected in her working style. Chief Minister Sai said that Minimata ji’s life is a unique example of struggle and service, which will continue to inspire the coming generations to work towards equality, justice and brotherhood in the society. He called upon everyone to adopt her ideals together and contribute to the creation of a just and inclusive society.
