Polytechnic college to open in Prayas Residential School and Garden in Jashpur
Raipur 25 December 2024Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today gave many big gifts for the development of Jashpur district on the occasion of Good Governance Day, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In a program organized in village Saliatoli of Kunkuri region, the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 172 development works costing Rs 726 crore 27 lakh, which includes the inauguration of 50 works costing Rs 65 crore 94 lakh and Bhoomi Pujan of 122 works costing Rs 660 crore 33 lakh. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai provided beneficiary-oriented materials and equipment to many beneficiaries under the beneficiary-oriented schemes of various departments of the government. Chief Minister Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan for 122 works costing Rs 660.33 crore, which include 21 works costing Rs 58.83 crore in Jashpur Assembly, 58 works costing Rs 498.01 crore in Kunkuri Assembly, 43 works costing Rs 103.48 crore in Pathalgaon Assembly. The works for which Bhoomi Pujan will be done mainly include Prayas Residential School in Jashpur, New Polytechnic College in Bagicha, Recreation Park in Kunkuri, Second Floor of District Office Jashpur, Infrastructure-warehouse in 15 Paddy Procurement Centers, Indoor Gym in Salihatoli, Badminton Court in Bagicha, Various works of Amrit Mission 2.0 in Kunkuri.
Similarly, the 50 newly constructed works costing Rs 65.94 crore inaugurated by Chief Minister Sai include 26 works costing about Rs 27.76 crore in Jashpur Assembly, 12 works costing Rs 5.65 crore in Kunkuri Assembly and 12 works costing Rs 32.51 crore in Pathalgaon Assembly. The works to be inaugurated mainly include Pongaro Anicut Hydro Power Based Pumping Scheme, 4 Pre-Matric Girls Hostel Buildings, 6 Stop Dams, New Tribal Girls Ashram in Sendrimunda, High School Building in Narayanpur. On this occasion, MLAs Smt. Gomti Sai and Raimuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Smt. Shanti Bhagat, Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, Krishna Kumar Rai, Nagar Palika Vice President Rajesh Gupta, Rampratap Singh, Yash Pratap Singh Judev, Sunil Gupta, Rohit Sai and other public representatives and officials were present.
